On Sunday, 120 Juniors from across Bristol and Portishead graded in three busy sessions at High Down School.
Arrived home about 20 minutes ago. A long day but so worth it seeing so many small and not so small karate kids training hard. It always amazes me how well they perform on the day. We'll relax for a short while but not for too long. It was great to see Lewis achieve his probationary black belt (Shodan Ho). He performed well on many aspects of the grading, especially his throws, weapons defence and sparring the adult black belts, as did Larry who is now a brown belt. Remember what ever your grade you did well. Without my black belts and other grades there the grading could never go a head, so a huge thank you to them. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. See you at training...maybe even a new parent or two...be inspired by the kids! |
